The wayfarer style of sunglasses has been a classic design for decades, with its clean lines and bold silhouette. Zeus was known for his strength, power and authority. We wanted to capture that same essence with these sunglasses, which look as if they were struck by one of his thunderbolts.

The Zeus is made from injection-molded hemp bioplastic — a hemp composite. Hemp is grown as a crop rather than recovered as waste, which makes it a renewable agricultural input instead of salvage.

Polarized, UV400 — every color. Every lens color on this frame is polarized and UV400.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping is set by the brand that makes the item, so the cost is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and ship directly from that brand, so items from different makers may arrive in separate parcels with their own tracking.

Standard US delivery is typically 3–7 business days after processing. You'll get a confirmation email with tracking as soon as each parcel leaves.

Returns & exchanges

Every item on AllHemp.com ships from the brand that makes it, and each brand sets its own return window and conditions — so returns vary by product.

Email Shop@AllHemp.com with your order number and we'll confirm the return policy for your item and arrange it with the vendor. Please don't ship anything back before contacting us.

If something arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, get in touch straight away and we'll make it right.

Three ways to make a hemp frame

Injection-molded bioplasticThis frame

Hemp fiber compounded into a polymer, melted and shot into a mold under pressure. Consistent wall thickness, crisp hinge seats, a finish that comes out of the tool already smooth — and the most affordable of the three, because the mold is expensive once and every frame after it is not.

3D-printed hemp and PLA

Hemp fiber in a PLA matrix, built up in layers rather than molded. PLA is itself a plant-derived bioplastic, so this is a composite of two agricultural inputs rather than hemp mixed into petroleum plastic. No tooling means shapes and short runs a mold could never justify.

Machine-pressed hemp fiber

Hemp fiber compressed under heat and pressure into a solid sheet, then cut and formed — closest to how classic acetate frames are made. It gives the densest, most substantial feel of the three, which is why it is used where the frame front carries the whole design.

All three are hemp composites, and the hemp in them is grown as a crop rather than recovered as waste. Price tracks the method rather than the lens: molded frames are the most affordable, printed and pressed frames cost more to make. See the full range in Hemp Sunglasses, or read the frames and lenses guide.

Hemp eyewear, answered

What does UV400 actually mean?

The lens blocks wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, which covers both UVA and UVB. It is the number worth checking on any sunglasses, because a dark lens without UV protection is worse than no sunglasses at all — the tint opens your pupil and lets more UV through.

Every frame in this range is full UV400.

Are these polarized?

Yes — every lens color on this frame is polarized. Pick any colorway and you get it.

Polarization removes horizontal glare — off water, wet road, a car hood. For driving, fishing or snow it is the upgrade worth paying for. It can also make some LCD screens look odd, which is a real trade-off if you check your phone constantly.

Is a hemp composite frame durable?

The hemp fiber acts as reinforcement inside the polymer, the way glass fiber does in fiberglass, so the frame is a structural composite rather than fiber glued onto plastic. Lenses across the range are impact resistant.

The usual failure point on any molded frame is heat, not force. Sustained heat relaxes a frame out of alignment, so keep them off a car dashboard.

How do I look after them?

Rinse before you wipe — dust is abrasive, and wiping a dry dusty lens is how lenses get scratched. Remove them with two hands; one-handed removal torques the hinge and is the leading cause of a frame that will not sit straight.

A hemp-cotton pouch with a satin lining that doubles as a lens cloth is available for a few dollars and is the cheapest scratch insurance there is.

How does shipping and returns work?

Shipping is set by the brand that makes these and is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. They ship directly from that maker, so an order containing items from two brands arrives as two parcels with separate tracking.

Return windows and conditions are set by each brand rather than by AllHemp.com, so they vary by product. Email Shop@AllHemp.com with your order number and we will confirm the policy for your item and arrange it with the maker.

  • Materials, spelled out

Where the brand supplies it, each listing shows fiber composition and blend percentages under Materials and hemp content — including when an item is a hemp blend rather than 100% hemp.
